Ann has been a therapist since 2001 and specializes in ‘Functional Manual Therapy’. The majority of her practice is back and neck pain and she excels at working with people who have tried PT elsewhere without results. She is the only PT in the metro area who completed the prestigious Functional Manual Therapy Certification with the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). Her philosophy involves not only treating the pain, but figuring out why it is there in the first place. This way, not only are you symptom free, but the pain is less likely to return.

Ann’s treatments are focused on three areas:
1) Improving joint and soft tissue mobility/alignment with manual techniques.
2) Improving neuromuscular control with hands on facilitation and strengthening exercises.
3) Detailed education on posture and changing patterns of movement.

Ann treats any and all orthopedic conditions and does video guided running analysis. She teaches Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Fascilitation (PNF) nationally with the IPA and is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the APTA.

Ann is an avid runner and biker, and has been practicing yoga for many years.
