Marla has a passion for health and wellness. Her background in movement and sports, as well as her desire to share her experiences in order to benefit others have been the roots for a career in Physical Therapy. Soon after Marla began Physical Therapy school at the University of Miami in FL, she found Pilates to be a natural fit within her tool set as a Physical Therapist. Marla became trained as a Pilates Teacher by Polestar Pilates and certified on all Pilates equipment by the PMA before finishing Physical Therapy school, and has been using Pilates principles successfully with a wide variety of patients from the beginning of her clinical experiences.
