Kathy has spent 30 years in the care and prevention of orthopedic injuries from the neck to the ankle and everything in between. She started her career as an athletic trainer in a college and high school setting (while still teaching high school English) focusing on field injuries and return to sport. She transitioned to the clinical setting and truly saw the impact a physical therapist can make across the age spectrum and went back to school to get her masters in physical therapy. For the last 21 years as a physical therapist, she has spent most of her time in orthopedics emphasizing hands on care. She has worked in a variety of settings including occupational health, hospital acute care, and home health. She is licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Her therapy expertise includes certifications in Dry Needling, Cupping, and MFR. Kathy provides presentations to community groups and businesses on injury prevention and healthy living. She is also certified as a health coach and works with individuals to reach their wellness goals and to control chronic diseases with weight loss as a happy side effect.
