Meghan’s treatment approach is eclectic with a heavy influence from the Institute of Physical Art and Michigan State Osteopathic approach. She strongly believes that in order to be effective in treatment, you need to address the dysfunction with a systems approach to the problem; finding the mechanical dysfunction, neuromuscular control deficit and strength and/or endurance weakness. Helping the patient to be active versus passive in their treatment empowers and gets them back to an active lifestyle more efficiently.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Meghan was a software engineer. She played college Soccer at University of Minnesota–Duluth for three seasons before transferring to the Twin Cities and playing ultimate. Meghan spends most of her time with her family incorporating an active lifestyle with them. Meghan enjoys multiple sports including cyclocross, mountain biking, ultimate, broom ball, soccer, golf, and Nordic skiing.
