Steph grew up in Chicago and at age eight, went to “take your daughter to work day” with her physician father. He brought her to an open heart surgery and showed her a patient’s adipose tissue telling her “this is what happens when you eat junk food and don’t move your body.” It was obviously an impactful moment and the first time she connected food and exercise to the body. Steph was a multi-sport athlete and has competed in marathons, Ironman’s, and CrossFit competitions.
Steph attended Purdue University, where she majored in dietetics. She completed her Personal Trainer Certification as well as becoming a Registered Dietitian. Double Threat!
She has been helping clients move pain free and enrich their lives with nutrition and exercise since 2008. She has worked in fitness studios, hospitals, and wellness centers with all genders and ages. She loves what she does and her energy is contagious.
Outside of Viverant, Steph enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog, and two cats. She loves animals (is an avid volunteer at the shelter), cooking, traveling, and listening to podcasts.
