Britta earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2015. After graduation, she spent 3 years building her practice around the treatment of runners and cyclists at a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic in downtown Chicago. She’s worked at various endurance events such as marathons and cyclocross races to help prevent injuries, and became a certified bike fitter through BikePT in 2016. Additionally, she has taught indoor cycling classes since 2010 to promote health and wellness to a wider community.
Britta moved back to her home state of Minnesota in 2018 and is thrilled to be a part of the St Paul Viverant community. The life transition brought her to Pilates-based rehab and pelvic health. Through a holistic lens, Britta enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries including women’s health, perinatal, and sports. She helps patients consider the mind and body connection when teaching them how to heal themselves.
Outside of work, Britta enjoys staying active by regularly cycling and practicing yoga. She is continuously seeking to improve her gardening and XX skiing skills depending on the season, so please let her know if you have any tips!
