Physical Therapist
Expertise
Britta earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2015. After graduation, she spent 3 years building her practice around the treatment of runners and cyclists at a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic in downtown Chicago. She’s worked at various endurance events such as marathons and cyclocross races to help prevent injuries, and became a certified bike fitter through BikePT in 2016. Additionally, she has taught indoor cycling classes since 2010 to promote health and wellness to a wider community.
Britta recently moved back to Minnesota and is excited about building a community through Viverant. During the transition, life brought her to Pilates-based rehab and she has realized how transformative this type of work can be. Through a holistic lens, Britta enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries. She helps patients consider the mind and body connection when teaching them how to heal themselves.
Outside of work, Britta enjoys staying active by regularly biking and practicing yoga. She also looks forward to improving her gardening and pottery skills as well as spending time with her nephews.
