Prior to beginning his path as a physical therapist Ian spent four years active duty in the Air Force where he had the opportunity to live in Germany for two years and travel throughout Europe. After leaving active duty to pursue school Ian joined the Air Force Reserve in Minneapolis where he continues to serve today. He was a non-traditional student transferring to St. Scholastica where he received his degree in psychology and continued on to obtain his DPT. Ian strongly believes in the connection between recovery from an injury and mindset going into physical therapy. He believes his duty is to make sure each patient has a  full understanding of the healing process and road to recovery to reach optimal results. When he is not at work he enjoys golfing, running the trails, participating in Tough Mudders, and spending time with his family.
