Megan Erickson, DPT

Megan has always been passionate about promoting wellness and a healthy, active lifestyle. She found the profession of physical therapy could help her play a proactive role in improving individual’s function and lifestyle. Megan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica, where she was also recognized for outstanding clinical research. She has extensive experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting throughout a variety of clinical internships, including Viverant. Megan also has a personal niche and clinical experience in the treatment of Women’s Health and pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Megan believes in treating the patient by taking a holistic approach towards her clinical practice and utilizing a variety of manual therapy, soft tissue, and fascial techniques to promote function in conjunction to patient–specific exercises. Megan values the importance of patient education and empowering each patient to be
an active participant in their recovery.

Megan enjoys running and training for a variety of road races to maintain a strong mind and body. These include Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, and a variety of half marathons. In addition to running, Megan stays active with hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and sand volleyball. With a love of the outdoors, Megan also enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin in Northern Minnesota.
